The Operations Manager is responsible for the management and oversight of all aspects of facility or facilities he/she is assigned.

Specific job responsibilities include:

§ Over site of the entire production process all things from propagation harvest and packaged product

§ Ensuring postproduction is managed and the highest quality product is delivered to the client in an efficient manner

§ Interviewing, selecting and training employees, appraising employee productivity and efficiency

§ Planning and delegating work among employees

§ Appraising employee productivity and efficiency, recommending skill assessment testing administer consistent employee discipline, recommending pay adjustment and setting work hours

§ Ensure compliance to Federal, State, and company regulations, policies, and procedures always

§ Ensuring use of state compliance software – tracking plants from propagation to packaged product

§ Proficient & can assist in all Cult Technician job functions

§ Facility walk-throughs and audits to ensure compliance

§ Responsible for product quality and yields

§ Responsible for tray assignments and batching, as set by Director of Cultivation

§ Creating and maintaining a production calendar

§ Weekly reports as set by Director of Cultivation, including but not limited to Environment’s, Fertility, pest pressure levels and Staffing

§ Client interaction within guidance set by Director of Cultivation and making sure their supervisor is aware of issues before the client

§ Adherence to site specific corporate approved special requests

§ Coordination with facilities and outside vendors, including but not limited to Contractors, Supply Chain, IPM, and Harvest Crew.

§ Tracking performance metrics of facility performance and employee progress, Provide consistent company sponsored annual performance reviews

§ Supplies Management: maintaining inventory, planning, monitoring consumption rates and recording receipts

§ Budget management – Creating, tracking and meeting budget requirements

§ SOPs – Adherence to all Company SOPs/ training of SOP’s

§ Salt mixing on-site as required by facility

§ Responsible for locking up and opening facility

§ Responsible for WPS Training

Education & Experience

· Bachelor’s degree OR equivalent on the job experience

Skills, Abilities & Essential Duties:

· Must possess horticultural skills and experience

· Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation

· Exceptional verbal and written communication

· Proficiency using Word, Excel, Outlook, MS Teams, Share Point, Seed to sale tracking system, Environmental control systems, PowerBi, iAuditor, and Power Apps

· Strong math skills

· Able to obtain State or Federal credentials required to work in cannabis cultivation facility

· 1-3 years minimum of prior management experience (depending on size)
